Our Vision

We're not just here to have church, but to be the church - serving all who are in need. Ultimately, our desire is to share the love of Christ with all people from every walk of life. That Includes you too.

Our Vision

The vision of The Fullness of the Spirit Ministries Church is for the perfecting or equipping the saints for the work of Ministry, which is the saving of souls and making disciples of every creature by preaching, teaching the word of God and displaying Christ’s love. -Ephesians 4:11-12

The Fullness of the Spirit Ministries off Canal Drive in the city of Chesapeake, Va is a place where people of all ages can come and receive spiritual inspiration. We provide childcare, services, and programs for every member of your family. There is something for everyone here at The Fullness.

Our Call

It is clear to all who know them that a divine call to ministry was given to Apostle Alvin and Pastor Annette Georges in whose hearts and hands was placed the vision of the Fullness of the Spirit Ministries. This work of God was birthed in 1983. Apostle Alvin Georges has been serving as leader since that time with his wife and Pastor, Annette Georges by his side.

Our Story

In 1982 Fullness of the Spirit Ministries was started with weekly bible studies in the Georges living room of their home, which grew to include Sunday services.

In 1983 Fullness of the Spirit moved to 1516 Johnson Road where God continued to move and the church continued to grow. It was during this time that F.S.M. expanded to the 1518 and operated a bookstore.

In 1992 F.S.M. moved to Poindexter street Chesapeake where the congregation continued to grow and the ministry partnered with Logos Bible College. This partnership gave the opportunity for a degreed Bible college to be established.

In 1994 FSM was forced to vacate Poindexter Street where we began our tabernacle experience. We held weekly services in the local hotels, Georgetown Child Development Center and various homes. With an office on Military Highway. During this time of tabernacleing, God’s presence was manifested and by His grace, we remained united.

January 1999

In January 1999 F.S.M. moved to Smith Avenue in Chesapeake. God was getting us ready for a supernatural move in Him.

October 1999

In October 1999 God spoke to Pastor Alvin Georges to pursue our present location. In 6 weeks the church raised the down payment to secure 730 Canal Drive.  God was true to His word. In December of 1999, we moved into our present facility.

In 2003 pastor Alvin C. Georges was Affirmed Apostle of the Fullness of the Spirit Ministries.
