What to Expect

We know that sometimes it's not easy visiting a church for the very first time. You probably have a lot of questions and you're not sure what exactly to expect. We desire that you would have a great worship experience with us.

The following information should help you to know what to expect when you visit.

When do we have services?

Currently, we have one worship service every Sunday promptly at 10:30 am. Before we begin our services we have a time of prayer. This is usually 10 minutes before service starts.

Other services we provide are

  • Noonday Prayer every Wednesday at 12 pm
  • Family Bible Study every Thursday at 7:30 pm

How do I get there?

We are currently holding services at our worship center, 730 Canal Drive, Chesapeake VA 23323. If you need directions, you can go here: www.fullnessofthespirit.org/times-directions

How should I dress?

Actually, you can come just as you are. Some like to dress up. Others like to dress down. However, you feel comfortable.

When is communion?

Communion takes place on the second Sunday of the month.

How do I give?

Offering is held during every Sunday service. In addition, you can give online and from your mobile device. Click here for further details. You can also mail a donation to Fullness of the Spirit Ministries 730 Canal Drive, Chesapeake VA 23323.

What kind of music should I expect?

Our worship ministry style is a mix of contemporary Christian and gospel.

What kind of service should I expect?

Every service begins with a time of Praise & Worship music lead by our dynamic praise team. We sing some popular worship songs and some originals. But don’t worry. We put all the words up on the screen so that you can sing along with us freely.

There is then a time of greeting, announcements, and offering. Afterward, we jump right into the word with practical teaching and dynamic preaching.

What do you offer the children?

We promise that your kids will want to come back every week. Our volunteers are trained to provide an awesome, fun, safe, and loving environment for your children.

After our praise and worship time, you have the opportunity to drop off you child (or send them with a volunteer). If your child happens to need you during service, you will be notified.

More questions?

Feel free to send us your questions by filling out the form on the contact page here. We will be sure to get back to you with an answer shortly.
